Understanding Your Subscription
LearnStash offers subscription-based access to our learning platform. This policy explains how subscriptions work, including billing cycles, automatic renewals, and the cancellation process.

Recurring Billing & Auto-Renewal
All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. This ensures uninterrupted access to your learning journey.
How Billing Works
- 1-Week Trial: Converts to monthly plan after 7 days unless cancelled
- 4-Week Plan: Charged monthly on the same date each billing cycle
- 12-Week Program: Charged quarterly every 3 months
Payment Authorization
By subscribing, you authorize LearnStash to charge your payment method automatically each billing period. You agree to keep your payment information current and updated.
Payment Methods
We accept a variety of payment methods through our secure payment processor, Stripe:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Link (Stripe's instant checkout option)
All payment data is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
Cancellation Policy
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- From Your Account: Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan
- By Email: Contact us at admin@learnstash.app
- From Profile: Navigate to your profile and select "Manage Subscription"
When Cancellation Takes Effect
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access to the platform until that date.
Example: If you cancel on January 15th and your billing cycle renews on February 1st, you will have access until February 1st, and no further charges will be made.
Access After Cancellation
When your subscription ends:
- Premium Access Ends: You will lose access to premium modules and lessons
- Progress Saved: Your learning progress is saved if you re-subscribe in the future
- Certificate: Any certificates earned remain accessible (view-only)
- Free Content: You may retain access to any free content we offer
Account Data Retention
We retain your account data and progress for at least 90 days after cancellation. If you wish to have your data permanently deleted, please contact us.
Failed Payments & Account Suspension
If a payment fails:
- We will attempt to retry payment according to Stripe's retry schedule
- You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
- Your account may be marked as past_due but remains accessible during retry attempts
- If payment fails after multiple attempts, your account will be suspended
Restoring Suspended Accounts
To restore a suspended account, update your payment information or complete the outstanding payment. Your access will be restored automatically once payment is successful.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. However:
- Notice: You will receive at least 30 days notice before any price increase
- Grandfathering: Existing subscribers are locked in at their current rate for at least one billing cycle
- Opt-Out: You may cancel before the price increase takes effect
Plan Changes
Upgrading Your Plan
You can upgrade to a longer billing cycle at any time. The change takes effect immediately, and you'll be charged the prorated difference.
Downgrading Your Plan
Plan downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll continue receiving the benefits of your current plan until that date.
Free Trial Terms
For promotional free trials:
- Payment method is required to start the trial
- You will not be charged until the trial period ends
- Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges
- Only one trial per person or account
